Bendix Ultimate

Bendix Ultimate is a high performance brake pad that offers the highest level of braking performance in terms of reduced stopping distances, excellent pedal feel and resistance to high temperature fade. Developed originally for use as Original Equipment (O.E.) on high performance vehicles, Ultimate is ideal for driving at freeway speeds and hard braking. Pre-conditioned during manufacture so there is no bedding-in required, Ultimate is recommended for sports, performance and prestige vehicles. At freeway speeds and beyond, Ultimate is unmatched for sheer stopping power. Ultimate should be fitted front and rear to maintain balanced driving between all four wheels.

Bendix Advance

Bendix engineers have recently developed Bendix Advance which offers optimised performance by combining the best of both categories of friction materials. Bendix Advance not only offers good friction levels resulting in a positive pedal feel but also a low wearing material which maximises the life of brake pads and disc rotors whilst at the same time providing a low dust output for improved wheel cleanliness. All this is achieved while brake pads remain very quiet in their operation.

Bendix Advance is a general purpose non asbestos brake pad that is ranged in over 500 references. Each Advance Pad has been tailor made dependent on vehicle application. This ensures correct fit, wear and braking characteristics for every vehicle and with Bendix’ on going testing and development improvements will continue.

Bendix 4WD

Unlike most vehicles four wheel drives are often called on to do a variety of extraordinary tasks. Frequent braking in heavy city traffic one day, towing or adventure driving in the outback the next and then back in the suburbs the following day. Underbraking can be a serious problem. Fitting ordinary replacement pads can cause overheating, leading to a condition called brake fade and also shorter pad life.

The Bendix 4WD brake pad is a unique formulation giving extended service life at high temperatures and exceptional resistance to brake fade, while at the same time retaining a good pedal feel. To reduce the effects of off road dust and grit on brake noise Bendix 4WD disc pads are gasketed with a special material to ensure quieter operation.

Bendix Heavy Duty brake pads are also ideal for towing – in fact, any situation involving frequent braking under load.

The pads also come with an exclusive insulation layer between the friction material and backing plate for cooler braking and longer rotor life.

They are equivalent to OE with superior friction material and quality metal shoes.
