EXEDY STANDARD CLUTCH KIT
The EXEDY range for standard passenger motor vehicles with no modifications was previously known as Daikin Clutch. While the name may have changed, the quality and suitability of the product definitely has not.
EXEDY clutch kits contain higher quality cover assemblies, clutch discs, and release bearings packaged in the distinctive silver and blue kit box.

The Hyper Single is a next generation clutch system supplied as a complete kit incorporating compact and lightweight designs. The disc, cover and flywheel are included, allowing for better engagement and improved shift response. |

CUSHIONED BUTTON
The cushioned button line is the newest sports clutch line and is recommended for use in moderately tuned vehicles that are driven on a daily basis.
This product utilises the positive aspects of an extremely durable ceramic material which has the capacity to transmit increased engine torque while maintaining a relatively comfortable engagement feeling attributed to the unique process of attaching the ceramic material to the clutch plate segment or marcel.
To complement these unique clutch plates, our cushioned button clutch kits are also supplied with high performance clutch cover assemblies with increased clamp loads.

DUAL PERFORMANCE
Dual Performance clutch kits are available to suit most common early model Ford Falcon, F100, F250, F350, Mustang, Holden HK to HZ and Commodore VB to VR models.
Dual performance clutch kits are ideally suited to lightly tuned vehicles where the driver requires a clutch to transmit a marginal increase in engine power while retaining a comfortable clutch engagement feeling when taking off from a stationary position. Clutch discs are assembled with a conventional organic friction material on the pressure plate side and a kevlar lining on the flywheel side.
Clutch cover assemblies supplied in these kits have increased clamp loads and ductile anti burst pressure plates. |

HEAVY DUTY and HEAVY DUTY BUTTON SPORTS
Our Heavy Duty (HD suffix) clutch kits are perfectly suited for use in lightly modified vehicles that are driven in circumstances where the vehicle is likely to encounter stop/start traffic. A high performance clutch cover with increased clamp load which will transmit an increase in engine torque is included in these kits with a standard organic clutch plate creating a performance clutch kit with smooth take off drivability.
The Heavy Duty Button (HDB suffix) clutch kits are manufactured to meet the demands of various forms of amateur and professional drift, circuit, rally and drag racing and are assembled from 100% new component parts. All HDB kits are supplied with high clamp load clutch cover assemblies and ceramic button clutch discs with sprung dampers. |

SAFARI TUFF
The EXEDY Safari Tuff clutch range has been purpose engineered to meet the demands of serious off road four wheel driving.
Design features include clutch discs with upgraded damper mechanisms and high coefficient premium grade friction materials making the Safari Tuff clutch disc the ultimate choice for serious off road drivers.
All Safari Tuff pressure plates are anodised to minimise corrosion and for ease of identification, also incorporating ductile anti burst pressure plate castings, which disperse heat more effectively when operated under duress. Pressure plate clamping loads are increased by up to 50% and additional drive straps (straps holding pressure plate casting to cover pressing) are used to improve durability. |

CLUTCHES WITH CERAMIC BUTTON FRICTION MATERIALS
EXEDY ceramic button clutches are designed to accommodate the demands of high power modified engines. Our ceramic friction material will transmit increased levels of engine torque without slipping or fading given the correct application. All EXEDY ceramic button clutch discs have sprung centre dampers to reduce the impact and shock load transmitted to the drivetrain, safeguarding the transmission and other drive line components.
We offer two types of ceramic button discs; standard thickness (SC) and reduced thickness (RC).
The reduced thickness ceramic button discs offer a reduction in inertia to improve shift response, making for faster shifting and improved synchro durability. These discs are approximately half the thickness of a standard disc and are recommended for track use only.
The standard thickness ceramic button discs have improved heat dispersion characteristics and therefore increased durability in demanding applications such as all wheel drive. Even our standard thickness, three puck cerametallic discs are typically lower in inertia than a regular disc and are recommended for both street and track use.
IMPORTANT With any ceramic button clutch system, there will be some compromise of start-up driveability when compared to a standard clutch (chatter on light throttle, low RPM start-up). This characteristic is generally deemed acceptable in modified performance cars. Drivers of vehicles fitted with cerametallic clutches on the street should be warned not to ride the clutch or try to reduce the chatter as this will greatly increase the wear rate. |

CLUTCHES WITH ORGANIC FRICTION MATERIALS
EXEDY racing clutches are fitted with premium organic friction materials and are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the preferred clutch for street and light horsepower track use.
The drivability will be similar to a regular clutch, however drivers may experience increased pedal effort, slight shudder and increased cabin noise due to the performance characteristics of the clutch.
